It’s always a blast seeing our favorite sports brands joining forces with luxury fashion houses to create something truly extraordinary. The collaboration between Puma and Balmain is the perfect example, and Cara Delevingne will be in charge of presenting their new collection to the world.
Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing happens to be close friends with Delevingne, and their shared love for boxing served as the main inspiration for this range. They found the perfect partner in crime in Puma because this brand has the same value system as the creative duo.
“Puma has always represented team work and empowerment so the idea of doing a partnership with Olivier seemed very fitting. Balmain has a similar brave fierceness to their brand as Puma does and it really excited me to think of what we could all do together,” explained the famous model and actress in a statement.
Puma x Balmain collection will feature mesh tank tops, hoodies, graphic T-shirts, and slim sweatpants, in addition to a series of statement pieces, such as sequined pre-fight gowns, bombers, and souvenir jackets. The entire range will make its way to Puma’s and Balmain’s web store on November 21st.
