Create Triggers

Triggers are often seen as something negative, actions that start unhealthy behaviors. But triggers can also push you to do something good and you can link them to actions you want to implement.

You can set alarms to remind you to drink water, put your running shoes in a visible spot so you remember to go out and run, do light exercises right after brushing your teeth in the evening, etc.

Use Anchors

Anchors are the initial pieces of information that lead you to make a decision without considering all the facts. You can use them to your advantage for creating a healthy lifestyle. For example, when you find a song that gets you pumped up for a workout, remember it, and use it every time you need additional motivation.
