Exercising on a stationary bike may seem like the easiest thing in the world, but bad posture can derail your progress and lead to injuries. If you can tell your posture is not great, but have no idea how to fix it – we’re here to help you out!

Upper Body Position

Always try to keep your spine straight to avoid neck and back strain. Keep your shoulders relaxed and try to avoid bending your wrists too much and holding the handlebars too tightly.

Holding Your Head Up

Ditch your phone when you’re exercising, and make sure you’re not looking down most of the time. Holding your head up is the best way to avoid neck strain, but it also can help you breathe properly and avoid dizziness.

Positioning Your Feet

You should keep your feet flat while paddling, to avoid putting a strain on your knees. Also, make sure that your knees stay over the center of the pedals because it allows you to keep your weight on the pedals.
