There are plenty of people out there who have trouble working out for the very simple reason that they all suffer from the same condition: “Hate Exercise Syndrome”. It’s a very common condition, and if we’re being honest, we’ve all probably suffered from it every now and then. So what can you do if you’re faced with this issue and you still want to get more fit? Here are some tips that should help.

The best thing to do if you hate exercising but still want to get in shape is to do things that don’t “feel” like exercise. Perhaps the best example of this is sports, but not only do they generally require large stores of energy and cardio, but they’re also fun.

Dancing is another great example of something that requires a lot of energy to do but is also fun. Blast some tunes through your stereo and get that body moving because before you know it you’ll be burning calories without realizing it.

Basic chores such as mowing the lawn, washing the dishes, or vacuuming the carpet, aren’t exactly marathons—but they certainly require more energy than sitting on the couch and eating french fries.
