Fitness influencer Lauren Drain recently gave birth to her daughter, and she shared several useful tips on how to stay fit and lead a healthy lifestyle both after and during pregnancy. Here’s how she managed to get back in shape post-partum, according to her Instagram posts.
Maintaining Muscle Mass
Drain revealed she lifted weights four days a week up until 35 weeks of her pregnancy because she tried to maintain as much muscle mass as she could while pregnant.
Drain’s pregnancy workouts also included body circuits two to four times a week, lasting 45 minutes per session.
The fitness influencer has been trying to eat as healthy as possible since delivery, and her daily diet usually includes salmon, sweet potatoes, oatmeal with berries, and lots of water.
Foods to Avoid
Since she’s not able to train as much as she used to after giving birth, a healthy diet comes first for Drain, and she tries avoiding dairy, sugar, fast food, and fried foods.
