Fitness Related Questions That Kept Jessica Simpson Accountable

Jessica Simpson gave birth to her third daughter back in March and dedicated the next few months to getting back in shape. Answering a couple of simple questions helped her keep herself accountable and to feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.

According to her personal trainer, Harley Pasternak, the famous singer had a daily email check-in answering a couple of questions before going to bed, just like the rest of his clients:

  • Did you hit your step goal? Yes or no?
  • Did you hit your sleep goal? Yes or no?
  • Did you hit your unplugged goal? Yes or no?
  • Did you hit your food goal? Yes or no?

This strategy obviously worked, since Jessica Simpson recently posted a picture celebrating her progress, which revealed she’s 100 pounds slimmer only six months after giving birth.

According to her trainer, she managed to pull this off by developing five healthy habits – hitting at least 12.000 steps on her Fitbit, getting at least seven hours of quality sleep, unplugging from technology for at least an hour, following her meal plan, and having a fun short workout every other day.
