There are times I look at other women who have had babies and think “why can’t I do that?” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Why can’t I run? Why don’t they have to pee ten times before bed? What would it be like to actually feel exactly like I did before having babies? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I can’t help but think occasionally of the things I can’t do. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But here’s the thing – there is so much more that I CAN do. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What in the world does it help for me to focus on what I can’t do when my body is capable of so many amazing and wonderful things? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My body got here from doing the most amazing thing possible – pushing out two tiny humans. My scars are simply the reminder of that 💕. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We all have something we’d like to change or times we look at others and think “what if?” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But do NOT let it overtake the reality of what you can do, what you do have, the strengths that are yours. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Some of us are more flexible than others. Some can do a handstand in the middle of the room. Some can swim across a lake. Some can do swan on the reformer with no assist. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We aren’t all the same and we aren’t meant to be. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What can YOU do? I bet it’s pretty amazing 💜✨.
