Kate Upton has always been an outspoken advocate for body positivity and empowerment, and she’s encouraging the rest of the world to speak their mind. The famous model recently started new initiative #ShareStrong, which asks people to share what inspires them to be their best selves.
Upton’s new campaign doesn’t simply stress the importance of physical strength, it shifts focus to motivation and mental strength, which are necessary for any kind of progress.
“I want to open the conversation and give all people a platform to talk about all the struggles and strengths we experience… That’s why I created #ShareStrong – a space where we all can be part of the conversation, empower one another, and radiate positivity. I want to hear from YOU!” wrote Kate Upton on Instagram.
The Sports Illustrated model promoted her new campaign in a series of unfiltered, makeup-free videos where she shared her story. Her main goal is to create a community that talks about encouraging, empowering stories and self-motivation, and it seems like she’s succeeding. Over 1.000 people already used #ShareStrong hashtag on Instagram – including celebrities Jessica Biel and Hunter McGrady.
