Keep Your Kids Moving With These Fun Indoor Activities

Social distancing is hard for everyone, especially kids who are used to running around outside during recess and in their free time. Even though playing outside is limited these days, there are tons of fun activities kids can do inside. All you need is some creativity and a bit of imagination for these indoor games.

Hallway Bowling

For this activity, you’ll need six to ten containers you can fill with water. Set them up in a triangle at the end of the hallway or against a wall. You’re ready to get a ball and start bowling!

Hallway Soccer

For hallway soccer, all you’ll need is some masking tape and a small plastic ball. Set up a net on the opposite ends of the hallway by putting the tape on the floor and then divide into teams. You’ll be sweating in no time trying to keep up with your kids.

Broom Hockey

Similar to hallway soccer, broom hockey also uses masking tape as nets and you’ll need a broom for each player. For the puck, you can use a tennis ball. The first team to 10 points wins!

Hula Hoop

This core-strengthing activity is great for kids, but just make sure they have plenty of space to move around. Have a hula-hooping contest with your kids and see who can spin the hoop around their arms or ankles.
