While we often have the intention of working out regularly, things can easily get in the way of that and even celebrities deal with this. The Good Place actress Kristen Bell has dealt with this and her fitness approach is super relatable. She believes that it’s normal to have a break from exercising and the hard part is getting back into it.

Bell shared a post-workout selfie on Instagram with an update on her fitness routine. “I’ve been struggling the last 2 weeks, for who-knows-why-slash-ALL-the-reasons. Today I finally got back on the tredmill, figuratively and literally. And I’m proud. “Good job, kb.” I said to myself.”

“To anyone who’s been feeling the same, you can do it. Just do the next right thing. I love u. Xo,” she continued.

The actress has previously spoken about how important exercise is to manage her mental health. “My husband and I know that we need to work out not just for our physical well-being but for our mental well-being,” she told Shape. She also works out for her wellbeing instead of aesthetic reasons.

Working out during the pandemic has been challenging with gyms and studios closed, but Bell helps us realize that it’s important not to feel guilty about skipping workouts. It’s never too late to get back into a routine, no matter how long it’s been.
