June is Pride Month, and to celebrate it, designers are creating collections that give back to the LGBTQIA+ community. Activewear brands are showing their support as well by changing their colors for the month, hiring queer creatives to design their collections, and donating to charities. Now’s the perfect time to upgrade your workout wardrobe while supporting a good cause. Here are three brands celebrating Pride Month.
New Balance
New Balance has released its Everybody’s Welcome Pride collection which features artwork by Zoie Lam, a queer artist from Hong Kong. The company is also donating $100,000 to GLSEN over the next two years.
Peloton
The brand that’s become synonymous with cycling has released its My Truth Is Our Power collection which has the Progress Pride Flag on almost all of the pieces. In addition to the collection, Peloton is donating $25,000 to four separate charities which include: The Ali Forney Center, The 519, London Friend, and GLADT.
Reebok
Reebok’s All Types of Live Pride collection was designed by the brand’s LGBTQ+ community Colorful Soles in partnership with Iconic House of Ninja. The brand is donating $75,000 to the Sylvia Rivera Law Project and the collection features the Pride Flag and the Progress Pride Flag.
