If your schedule is so busy you can barely find twenty minutes a day to work out, we’ve got some good news for you.  Tabata training is one of the most intense routines on the market, and it’s perfect for everyone who’s struggling to find the time.

This training method was invented by Japanese scientist Dr. Izumi Tabata, and it will force you to really push yourself to the limit. It falls under the category of high-intensity interval training, but it’s more demanding than its other variations.

Tabata session consists of four-minute long intervals, each reserved for a different exercise or movement. Over the course of those four minutes, you’re required to work out at absolute maximum intensity for 20 seconds, take rest for 10 seconds, and complete eight rounds until you’re done.

It’s up to you how many different moves you’re going to incorporate into your Tabata training, but it’s recommended to take a one-minute break between intervals. Take a look at one training session and decide for yourself if it’s a thing for you.
