]]>Itsines is best known for her viral BBG program, but she realized that the high intensity level of this routine doesn’t make it accessible to everyone. That’s why she came up with an easy-to-follow program for women of different fitness levels that involves no jumping whatsoever.
“I know that my workouts will now be more accessible to more women who want effective, easy-to-follow workouts that can be done in less than 30 minutes. They can now be done at a lower intensity with no jumping and are easier on your joints,” explained Itsines on Instagram.
Over the course of eight weeks, the famous fitness influencer will share three workouts a week that can be done in 30 minutes or less. By this point, she already dropped several workouts from this program, including a low-impact workout with her mom. They’re all available through her fitness app Sweat, which offers 7-day free trials to all newcomers.

]]>Itsines posted the tip on her Instagram along with a video demonstrating it, which focuses on breathing. After you get in plank position, “breathe in through your nose, and when you blow out through your mouth, I want you to do it so hard,” she explains.
“My core is so engaged, it’s so on, and I just keep doing that: in through your nose, out through your mouth. As you do that, you can watch your stomach, your core, engage and tense, and it makes planks go so much faster, and it’s so much more effective,” the fitness influencer continues.
By staying mindful of your breathing, the exercise goes by so much quicker and it increases oxygen flow to your entire body, making the exercise more effective. We’re here for anything that can make planks more bearable and the time go by quicker.

Kayla believes in the importance of breakfast, “I usually wake up hungry, so the first thing I want to do is eat, not train,” she told Women’s Health. “I want to make sure that I have enough fuel in my body to be able to work out.” Her breakfast includes two pieces of toast with olive oil, anchovies, tomato, and olives with a Turkish coffee.
To maintain her energy levels, she eats salad with brown rice, tuna, vegetables, spices, and a balsamic vinegar and olive oil dressing. Kayla makes sure to have vegetables with every meal and a protein.
Between meals, she’ll have tuna and crackers, fruit and yogurt, watermelon, and veggies with dips. The influencer makes sure to listen to her body and if she’s hungry, she’ll have a snack.
Kayla eats an early dinner with her family that’s a Mediterranean feast with lots of different dishes. The foods usually include two different meats, salads, vegetables, and bread or rice.

]]>“The reality is that many women don’t train using one fitness style,” Itsines shared in a statement. “They want to be able to include other fitness styles, like barre or yoga, alongside their high-intensity and strength workouts. Women want more choice and variety in their workouts with the freedom and power to exercise on their own terms.”
This isn’t the first time the app has offered yoga, as they offered a Body and Mind Yoga (BAM) program with yoga-inspired movements taught by Sjana Elisa. The app now offers more classes led by vinyasa instructors Phyllicia Bonanno and Ania Tippkemper called Yoga with Phyllicia and Yoga with Ania.
Bonanno’s six-week program is great for people of all fitness levels and it only requires a yoga mat. Each week, you’ll complete three classes that are 15-45 minutes long. The program also recommends two optional low-intensity cardio sessions during the week.
Tippkemper’s program has the same format, with a six-week program with three vinyasa classes and two low-intensity cardio workouts each week. The classes total around 30-45 minutes. This program is beginner-friendly and it includes non-traditional poses, for those looking to challenge themselves. In addition to a yoga mat, you’ll need a yoga black and a yoga bolster.
The Barre program is led by Britany Williams and it features elements of ballet and Pilates with high-intensity movements to build strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance. The program is also six-weeks and it offers four classes per week, with each class being 30-45 minutes long.

]]>“To complete this challenge, you can choose the level of difficulty that best suits you,” the video description reads. “The aim is to complete 10 sets of 10 reps with a 10 second rest in between. If you want to really challenge yourself, try doing 100 reps in a row with no rest! You’ve got this!”
The challenge can be modified to suit your fitness level. If you’re a beginner, do 100 reps of alternating bent leg raises. For intermediate level, give ab bikes a try. For those who are up for a challenge, Itsines suggests doing 100 bent leg jackknives.
Unless you’re doing this challenge after your regular workout, make sure to warm up by doing some jumping jacks or walking up and down some stairs. Doing a single exercise for 100 times and being done with it may sound easy, but it’s not so much. Don’t forget to stretch in the end!
