It’s always great to work out to music you love and this latest workout is perfect for Taylor Swift fans. Brought to you by fitness influencer Emily Thorne, the 25-minute HIIT workout features cardio and strength moves with her upbeat personality. Everything in the video is set to Swift’s Reputation and Lover.
Thorne’s HIIT workouts are similar to TABATA with approximately 20 seconds on and 10 seconds off, but without planks and burpees. She starts off the video with her two big rules—”Fake it til You Make it✌🏻” and “Wrong and Strong 🔥”, which can be found on her Instagram and YouTube page.
The video features alternating bodyweight dance sequences with two different choreographed sections per song repeated on a loop. The workout begins with a warm-up to “Ready For It” before moving on to “You Need to Calm Down,” “I Did Something Bad,” “Cruel Summer,” “Paper Rings” and “Me!”
Throughout the video, Thorne teaches each sequence as well as modifications. Some of our favorite moves are the quick feet into star jumps and ball slams, the mini squats into body rolls, and the monster walks into low jumping jacks.
