Practice Social Distancing on the Pool Deck

Public pools have been placing he deck chairs at least six feet apart and families can only bring people in their actual family to the pool. They’ve set up pods, so you don’t mix with other groups of people.

Skip Pool Toys

Because you don’t need to wear a mask when you’re in the water, avoid sharing pool toys, food, equipment, and other supplies with people who aren’t in your immediate family.

Bring Your Own Food

To keep your risk as low as possible, just bring your own food, so you’re the only one touching it. The food area will be open and they should have social distancing practices in place, but it’s better to just avoid these areas.

Don’t Go to the Pool is Someone in You’re Family’s High-Risk

Think about the other people you live with and if there’s someone who’s high-risk in your family, it’s better to avoid pools this summer or to set a pool or sprinkler up in your backyard.
