Getting some protein in post workout is a good way to consolidate the hard work you’ve done, as the protein will help build and develop muscles. Check out this recipe for a simple, healthy protein shake, with no unknown additives, flavors, or preservatives that you’ll find in store bought ones.

Protein Shake

Ingredients (to serve 1):

  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of natural yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 1/2 a banana
  • 1 teaspoon of maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Place all of the ingredients in a food processor and blitz until smooth.
  2. If you wish, you can add some ice to the processor to make the shake cold.
