The stair climber is an excellent equipment to tone your body, strengthen your core and utilize the main muscles to burn more calories. It is more like a mini escalator, and it has handrails and revolving stairs. When the stairs begin to move, you can stimulate climbing a flight of stairs with it.

This machine provides an excellent cardio workout that eases the joints while building all the leg and bum muscles. The stairs tone your lower body and work on the core muscles simultaneously. It also improves your stamina and cardiovascular endurance.

Stair climber routines to try

Alternate steps: when you move one step at a time, you’re working on your quads. Two steps target the glutes and hamstrings. If you want a full workout, alternate the number of steps. Try to increase the level after each set.

Squats: keep your feet a few widths apart and start the climber on slow speed. Spring up to the revolving stair after squatting down. Ensure that your knees are bent when you land. Hold the handrails for more balance.

Crossover steps: for a firmer bum, do crossovers for at least ten minutes. Step up using your right foot and set it down on the subsequent step where your other foot would have landed. Basically, it involves switching positions. You must hold the handrails to gain stability.
