What is LCHF Diet?

Low Carb High Fat Diet, also known as Paleo diet, limits the carbs you eat throughout the day and focuses on eating more fats. It’s based on the logic that sugar and empty calories are the dominant reason why people eat more than they need and gain weight.

LCHF diet doesn’t force you to count calories, but you’ll naturally eat less when you limit your carb intake.

LCHF diet recommends foods like meat, fish and other seafood, eggs, dairy, vegetables, nuts and seeds, and healthy fats. Fats are the key ingredient that makes this diet sustainable as they will keep you full between the meals. Recommended fat sources include animal fat, butter, and cold press oils.

What About Fruit?

Fruits and vegetables are a great source of complex carbs and fiber but you should avoid fruit with high sugar content. Choose lemon, berries, grapefruit and avoid bananas.
