Easy-To-Make Hummus Recipe

If you got bored already with the trendy avocado toast, you should try out the hummus toast. Like its brother, it makes for the perfect snack or small meal.

Hummus is a dip which can be made of any kind of bean or legume, such as chickpeas, black beans, lentils, or white beans. Full of nutrients, proteins, and fibers, hummus is considered a super healthy treat, with the added bonus of low calories.

And with this recipe, you can actually make it fairly easy. Try it yourself.

The Ingredients

  • 15-ounce Can Chickpeas – rinsed
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • ¼ cup Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • ¾ teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Seed Paste – optional

The Preparation

Firstly, in a food processor, mix the chickpeas and garlic with the olive oil, lemon juice, sesame seed pasta, cumin and ¾ teaspoon salt. Blend it until it becomes smooth and creamy. Then, if necessary, add 1 to 2 tablespoons water to achieve the desired consistency. When done, transfer the mixture into a bowl. Serve it on a toast, drizzle it with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika.
