Find a Set of Stairs For This Full-Body Workout

Not having access to fitness centers and gyms is making it more difficult to maintain your workout routine, but it can also motivate you to be more creative and to find new ways to use things you already have. This full-body workout will get your heart rate up and you only need a set of stairs or a stepper to do it.

We found the workout on personal trainer Beth Alexander’s Instagram account. “It’s a total-body workout that combines strength, cardio, and range-of-motion exercises using just your bodyweight and a step! It’s the perfect feel-good workout that challenges your heart and your muscles from head to toe,” she told Popsugar.

This is a quick and efficient workout that you can do indoors or outdoors—basically anywhere where you can find one step. Alexander suggests putting on some music for motivation. Don’t forget to warm up with a short walk or to go up and down the stairs for several minutes. After you do that, complete each of the exercises she shared 30-45 times per side. Rest for a minute or two between sets and do two to three repetitions of each set. Cooldown by stretching for 10 minutes.
