
Gracie Abrams is one of the biggest rising stars of her generation, and she opened up about her rise to stardom in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan. She also dropped some hints about her personal fitness journey and explained why she’s not interested in sharing her workout routine with the world.
Abrams has been on quite a journey since joining Taylor Swift as a supporting act during The Eras Tour and dropping her album The Secret of Us. The tour for her sophomore LP has been quite a success, but one unexpected aspect ended up making the headlines while she was touring: her sculpted abs.
Several major publications ran articles with such titles as “How to get abs like Gracie Abrams”, offering expert tips from fitness trainers. Abrams never addressed this topic directly, and she told Cosmopolitan she’s not interested in sharing her fitness routine because there’s already too much discourse on women’s bodies.
Despite claiming she doesn’t have an ab routine, the young singer said she enjoys hitting the gym and often relies on fitness when trying to clear her mind.
“I’m someone who notices a difference in my mood on the days I’ve worked out versus not. It’s a relationship I work on with myself often. During COVID, when we were all home, I started doing Pilates workout videos in an obsessed way and it became unhealthy,” Abrams told Cosmopolitan.
