Healthy Banana Oatmeal Pancakes You Have to Try

Who doesn’t love to eat a tasty pancake for breakfast? However, if you are eating only healthy food, pancakes are a big no-no. But not anymore! Here is a yummy and healthy pancake recipe you will love.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup rolled oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 bananas
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2/3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch salt
  • 1-2 tsp oil of your choice for cooking
  • Maple syrup to serve

Instructions

  1. The first step is to prepare the oat powder. Place the rolled oats in a food processor or blender and process until it gets a floury consistency.
  2. Then in a large bowl, mash bananas, add eggs and mix until it becomes smooth.
  3. Next, add vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt and give it a good mix.
  4. Finally, add the oatmeal and baking powder. Stir it until it is well combined. Heat pan to medium heat, then add oil of your choice and pour the batter into the pan and cook it for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Then flip the pancake and cook again for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Serve it with some fresh fruit and drizzle with maple syrup.
