This might not be your jam at all or it might be a light bulb moment that will be a relief to implement. 🥗 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In this season, having the same breakfast and lunch has helped me so much. For a good while it was egg bake but for the past couple months I'm enjoying steel cut oats with hemp seeds and PB then my post-workout and some Greek yogurt on the side. I'd say 3-4 weekdays we're having eggs with veggies plus toast or fruit with PB for lunch. I find I can still have variety with what I put in the oats or how I cook the eggs and what goes on it like feta, ebb seasoning, real bacon crumbles, and varying the veggies to cook with them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That frees up mental space to mainly consider dinner. I probably rotate 8-10 favorites throughout the month and work in 1 mayyyybe 2 new ones a week, usually inspired after seeing someone in my virtual accountability group make it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I'm a fan of meals where I cook once and everyone puts the meal together to their preference like this Greek salad/pitas pictured here or taco nights. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Would this be something helpful to you so you free up mental space for dinner? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Comment if you want the direct link since I know you can't copy and paste the link below but this is a post I wrote a couple years ago with easy weeknight dinner ideas that are still in our regular rotation. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ http://www.budgetforhealth.com/easy-dinner-ideas/ What are you favorite go-to meals in the rotation?

Eat Satisfying Foods

Part of the reason we snack so often is that our meals weren’t satisfying or filling. Avoid snacking by eating meals full of protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. When you travel, try and keep your meal times as similar to your normal ones as possible, as this will avoid overeating and snacking. Also, when you make plans with friends, try and bring you own snacks, so you won’t be tempted to binge on whatever is in front of you when you’re hungry.

How Does the Food Make You Feel?

Instead of worrying about eating super healthy all the time and placing certain foods off-limits, focus on how the food makes you feel. The next time you’re craving pizza or a doughnut, go ahead and enjoy it. Eat foods that make you feel good and energized.

Get Sleep

When you don’t get enough sleep it’s hard to concentrate, you’re energy levels are low, and you end up eating more. Try and maintain a consistent bedtime and wake up at around the same time everyday.

Make Friends Through Exercise
