Here’s Why You Should Never Blindly Follow Celebrity Fitness Routines

If you’re struggling to commit to your fitness routine, trying one that works for other people may seem like a good idea. Celebrities are often a great source of fitness motivation, but their routines shouldn’t be blindly followed for more reasons than one.

Everyone’s Different

The main reason why celebrity routines won’t yield the same results for you is pretty simple—we are all our own people. Your metabolism, genes, bone structure, and many other factors come into play and they’re part of the reason why you won’t have the same body shape as someone else who follows the same routine—including your favorite Hollywood stars.

Money Factor

Celebrities had all the possible resources at their disposal to get into the best shape of their life. They can afford famous personal trainers and expensive home gym machines, and working out is often a part of their job description. Instead of looking down on yourself for being unable to do the same, try to make the best of what you’ve got.

Paid Sponsorships

Just like influencers, many celebrities earn money from paid sponsorships on social media. It’s sometimes difficult to know if they’re promoting new fitness classes, apps, gym machines, activewear, and dietary supplements because they’re really using them or because they’re paid to do so.
