How to Be Eco-Friendly While Working Out

If you’re on a mission to make your workouts more eco-friendly, here are our best tips.

Wear Cotton Clothes

100% cotton workout clothes are eco-friendly and feel great against your skin. They absorb moisture and let your skin breathe without locking the heat close to your body. Other great options include bamboo and soy fabric.

Reusable Water Bottles

This is one of the easiest changes to implement. A reusable water bottle doesn’t have to cost a fortune and it will keep you from buying a new single-use bottle whenever you work out. If you go with plastic, make sure it’s BPA-free. Also, don’t replace the bottle often just because you find a new one with prettier design, as each of them ends up on the landfill.

Bike to Work

All the activity throughout the day counts, and if you want to make it more green, choose biking, walking, or riding a scooter to work instead of driving a car. It will help you burn some additional calories while reducing pollution – a clear win-win.
