One of the first steps of starting a home workout routine is setting up your space, but what should you do once you get bored of it? It’s difficult to simply change the place where you’re training, especially if you live in a small home, but you can keep things interesting by following these three steps.

Switch Things Up

Even if you can’t change the space where you’re working out, you can change something about it—or yourself and your routine. Switch things up by rearranging your furniture, buying some new activewear and gym essentials, or even trying some new exercises you haven’t done before.

Alone Time

If you don’t live in a tiny studio, put the time when you’re home alone to some good use. Instead of working out in your designated space, try exercising in a different room that’s large enough and see if it has a positive impact on your routine.

Get Out

Working out at home doesn’t necessarily mean you should be stuck inside. Do your workouts in your garden or backyard if you have one, or try exercising at a local park if that’s not the case.
