How To Choose The Perfect Running Shoes?

Buying the perfect trainers is the key to successful training. Going with smaller, wider or larger can harm your feet, give you blisters and cause back pain as well. Here are some tips to choose your perfect running shoes.

Measure Your Foot Size

With the help of a piece of paper, pen and a ruler measure your foot size. Wear running socks and stand with one foot on the paper, but don’t forget to keep your body weight over your foot. Then draw around the outside of your entire foot. Measuring vertically is the foot length, while the width is the measurement horizontally across the widest part of your foot tracing.

Choose The Perfect Size

For a comfier run, the best way is to choose a running shoe that’s a half size longer than your measured size. Keep in mind that your trainers always have to be a half size longer than your standard everyday shoe. When shopping for trainers check for proper length and width by putting your thumb at the back of your shoe. A good fit should allow from half to a full thumb’s width space. A perfect running shoe should feel snug in the heel and midfoot, with wiggle room around the toes.
