How to Do The Farmer’s Walk

Have you heard about an exercise called the Farmer’s Walks? Well, in case you haven’t, it’s a popular exercise that’s great for building core strength and burning fat easily. It can also build your biceps and forearms, strengthen your wrists, and improve your joints if you hold the bumps with bent elbows.

For this exercise all you need is a pair of weights. There are several variations to this exercise, you can put the weight onto your shoulders, above your head, or do it the most common way; by gripping them. Put your chest in front, your spine straight, and keep your head upright. This exercise is great for those who sit a lot; for office workers, programmers, painters, anyone with a problematic back and posture.

Just grip your weights, set a stopwatch for five minutes, and start walking. Do as many leaps as you can. With time you will see the progress; heavier weights and longer and longer leaps. It’s important not to use tape for your hands, only then you will be able to feel the real pressure of the weights.
