Jane Fonda Brings Her ’80s Fitness Legacy to H&M Move Campaign

Jane Fonda helped countless women stay in shape with her iconic VHS workouts, and she’s ready to revive her legacy. The iconic actress and activist joined forces with H&M to launch an amazing new campaign that encourages people of all ages to stay on the move.

The Swedish fashion brand launched H&M Move on August 4 and invited Fonda and choreographer JaQuel Knight to come on board and share their vision with the world. The main mission of this brand is “democratizing sports apparel” and providing stylish and functional movewear of incredible value for their customers.

The Hollywood legend said she was naturally drawn to the mission of H&M because she’s spent a lot of her own life getting people to move.

“I also really liked their philosophy of ‘movewear’ over ‘sportswear.’ To me, it’s not about sports or being the most athletic. It’s about giving your body the kind of movement it needs to stay healthy so it can take care of you,” said Fonda in a statement.

H&M Move introduced three brand-new materials called DryMove, ShapeMove, and SoftMove, and they’re promising they’ll keep you comfortable, supported, and extra light. The entire collection is available online and at 2,500 stores worldwide and it includes everything from leggings and sports bras to windbreakers and running shorts.
