Jessica Simpson Opens Up About Struggles of Returning to the Gym

Going back to working out after taking a long break can be a struggle for everyone, including Hollywood superstars. Jessica Simpson recently took to Instagram after returning to the gym and admitted that going back to her old routine hasn’t been easy.

Simpson tried to spread some fitness motivation by sharing a photo that shows her striking a pose on a treadmill and followed it by an honest caption:

“First day back at it and I’m already hurtin’ and feelin’ real dramatic about being sore. I have been craving this, but procrastinating. One work out and I am determined to not let myself down. Although I will be eating a brownie to give myself some points!”, wrote the 41-year-old singer.

Simpson has always been open about both her progress and struggles with fitness. Back in 2019, she revealed that she had lost 100 pounds after giving birth to her third child, but went on to say she’s not obsessed with weighing herself because she just wants to feel good. Celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak was always there to help her reach her goals by coming up with a fitness routine and eating plan that are balanced and sustainable.
