Everyone has different goals for their fitness routine, but “getting skinny” is the endgame for many people out there. Khloé Kardashian isn’t one of them, and her ultimate goal is to be strong and muscular, instead of aiming for a slender figure.

The reality star recently discussed her fitness journey with People, explaining why it’s important for her to be muscular rather than slender.

“Everyone has their own aspirations and body goals, but I love when I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, I have new muscle definition,’ or I finally have that tricep cut that I’ve always wanted… [I like to] strengthen my body. I don’t just want to be skinny, I want to be really strong,” Kardashian told People.

Kardashian has been very open about her fitness journey over the years, stressing the benefits it had on her mind, body, and soul. She’s a huge believer that fitness can have a positive impact on our mental health because she gets a sense of accomplishment every time she hits the gym.

Kardashian is constantly looking for new ways to stay fit, and she recently became an ambassador for the smart rowing machine company Hydrow. She praised its efficiency and performance, saying it takes her just 20 minutes to get a full-body workout on this machine.
