
Kourtney Kardashian became a mom for the fourth time back in 2023, and she always knew her postpartum journey would be different this time around. She recently opened up about the post-baby workout and wellness routine that helped her feel strong and healthy after giving birth in her 40s.
Kardashian and her husband Travis Barker welcomed their son Rocky Thirteen Barker in November 2023, conceiving naturally after five failed cycles of IVF. Kardashian has three children with her ex Scott Disick, but she wanted to give herself “grace and the permission to take [her] time” during her third pregnancy.
Kardashian discussed her postpartum workout routine with Women’s Health, and revealed she prioritized listening to her body instead of pushing herself to go back to the gym. Her fitness routine initially included daily walks, before she was ready to intensity her workouts and hit the gym alongside her husband Travis Barker.
They usually work out by each other’s side, doing three sessions of strength training and one or two Pilates classes per week. As for her eating habits, she’s trying to add more protein to her diet, including vegan protein shakes and protein toast with almond butter and sliced bananas, along with drinking bone broth each morning.
