Lizzo’s Been Working on Her Fitness For the Past 5 Years: Check Out What She Does

The body-positive singer seems to do it all—while on stage she dances, plays the flute, and sings. She even sings about exercising in songs like “Fitness” and she’s been working out for five years.

“I’m not working out to have your ideal body type. I’m working out to have my ideal body type,” she said in a TikTok video. “And you know what type that is? None of your f**king business. Because I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job, and I stay on my job.”

Lizzo’s constantly posting her workouts on her social media and here’s whats she does to be the best version of herself.

Strength Training

The “Truth Hurts” singer does bodyweight exercises and resistance moves for a full-body workout. She does circuit training with superman, battle ropes, and weighted squats.

Jump Rope

She trains with Marcus Ely and she’s one of the many celebrities including Halle Berry and Carrie Underwood who get their cardio in by skipping.

Full-Body Workouts

In a recent TikTok video, the singer worked out to her song “Tempo” while completing a total-body circuit. In the video, you can see her doing lat pulldowns, stability ball core exercises, jumping jacks, and battle ropes.

Exercise Bike

Riding a stationary exercise bike is part of Lizzo’s fitness routine and she also made it clear in a TikTok video of her exercising that she doesn’t have time for body shamers.
