Staying committed to your fitness routine when you have a grueling filming schedule can be incredibly difficult, but Madelaine Petsch found a way to do it. The Riverdale actress recently shared a video of her early morning workout and it’s even more intense than we expected.

Petsch kicked off the video by explaining she usually hits the gym around 6 a.m. because a shooting can go super-late and they never know when they’re going to wrap up. She wants to relax after coming back from work and that’s why she always tries to squeeze in a workout early in the morning.

Petsch’s workout consists of a warm-up and three different circuits, which utilize several pieces of equipment, including an exercise ball, resistance band, and kettlebell. It mostly consists of lower-body and core moves and it lasts for about an hour.

Some of the most common exercises in Petsch’s routine are different variations of squats, planks, and lunges. To make the moves more complex and build an even stronger core, the Riverdale star incorporated different pieces of equipment in each exercise.
