Megan Thee Stallion never shied away from sharing her workouts with the world, and their intensity left people speechless. The Grammy-winning rapper opened up about her intense workout routine in a recent interview and reflected on the positive impact they had on her mental health.
Stallion recently broke the internet with her gym recap video, choreographed to the beat of her new Cardi B collaboration “Bongos”. The viral clip showed her doing everything from deadlifts to jumping rope, and she finally decided to spill the tea about her grueling fitness routine in a recent interview with Billboard.
Stallion admitted she’s a huge fan of boxing and high-intensity interval training, and added she loves pushing herself at the gym. The Grammy-winning rapper, who took a break from music to focus on her mental health earlier this year, also admitted that her workouts helped her weather bad days.
“I definitely go in the gym and I push myself and I motivate myself and I’m pushing my body. But, to push your body, I feel like it’s to push yourself mentally. The gym is definitely a mental thing… Working out just feels super rewarding. I feel very accomplished after I work out,” she explained.
