New to CorePower Yoga? Here’s What to Know Before Your First Class

CorePower Yoga is the largest yoga studio chain with more than 200 locations throughout the country. When trying a class for the first time, it’s normal to feel nervous, and knowing what to expect before you arrive can help you feel less stressed about it. Here’s what to know prior to setting foot in a CorePower Yoga studio.

Bring Towels

Make sure you bring towels to cover your mat as you’ll get super sweaty—the rooms get up to 100 degrees! Also, bring a hand towel to keep by your water bottle for when you need to pat down your face. Don’t forget a third towel for showering after the class!

Grab a Lock

Bring a lock so you don’t have to worry about your valuables getting stolen, you don’t want to be thinking about your stuff throughout the whole class.

Arrive 15 Minutes Early

To ensure you get a spot, arrive early so you have to time put your stuff in the locker room and set up your mat. If you arrive late, you may be locked out, which is awkward and will ruin your experience.

Make the Most From Your First Week

Your first week at CorePower Yoga is free and unlimited! Yes, you read that right—free. If the classes aren’t what you were hoping for, you can try another one that’s a better fit for your level and fitness goals. There’s no harm in trying because you aren’t spending any money.
