One of the benefits of working out is that it provides you with a routine. That means that each morning after getting up, or after finishing work at the end of the day, you hit the gym and do your exercises for an hour. It’s all about structure.

When traveling, whether for work or pleasure, that routine usually gets messed up. Although you may be out of your comfort zone or not able to access a gym, that doesn’t mean you can’t keep fit. Here are three ways to work out while away.

Single Leg Lunges

You can use your hotel bed for this one. Stand in front of the bed and begin with your feet hip-width apart. Place one leg behind you on the bed and place your hands on your hips. Perform lunges by bending your front knee. Repeat 15 times on each side.

Tricep Dips

Place your hands on the edge of a chair with your fingertips facing toward you. Extend your legs in front of you and then lower and raise yourself by bending your elbows. Repeat 15 times.

Luggage Overhead Presses

Fill your luggage, then stand with your feet hip-width apart and raise the luggage above your head. Bend your arms to bring the luggage closer to your head, bend your knees into a squat, and then straighten up while extending your arms to push the luggage towards the sky. Repeat 15 times.
