No-equipment workouts are all the rage on YouTube, but Pamela Reif decided to mix things up by adding one everyday item to the mix—a water bottle. In one of her latest workout videos, the popular fitness influencer replaced dumbbells with a water bottle and convinced us that we should do the same.

Reif came up with an amazing ab routine that you can do without investing in any expensive pieces of equipment. A water bottle is all you need, and it’s highly likely that you already have one at home, so why not put it to some good use?

Reif recommends embracing “the heavier, the better” mindset because your workout will be more intense if your water bottle weighs more. The water bottle will add extra resistance to your workout, forcing your muscles to grow stronger along the way.
