During the pandemic retro workouts have made a comeback with rollerblading, jump rope, and Zumba becoming more popular than ever. Celebrities and influencers have even taken to Instagram to show their love for these workouts. These exercises are great cardio and they don’t require a gym to do them. Here’s why you should start doing these workouts today.

Rollerblading

Recently a TikTok video from actor and dancer Ana Coto roller skating to “Jenny From the Block” went viral. Rollerblading is an amazing cardio workout that’s much more fun than slaving away on the treadmill. You’ll be brought right back to childhood and birthday parties while roller around your neighborhood.

Jump Rope

While jumping rope is nothing new, during quarantine people have been pulling out their jump ropes for skipping rope workouts at home. Jumping rope is some of the best cardio you can get and it’s a full-body workout that will leave you out of breath.

Zumba

Zumba, the Latin-inspired dance workout created in the ’90s, can be done in the studio or online, with tons of classes being offered. You won’t even realize you’re exercising because you’ll be having so much fun dancing along to the music.
