]]>Cozy cardio is all about putting a mindful, gentle, and nurturing twist on your cardio workouts. Whether you enjoy running on a treadmill or riding a stationary bike, this workout trend is all about associating these activities with things that you enjoy and shifting focus on them, instead of putting too much pressure on yourself to reach certain fitness goals.

Cozy cardio is all about motivation, and it means different things to different people. Some will embrace it by hitting the gym in a new set of workout clothes or eating their favorite pre-workout snack, while others will redecorate their workout area at home and create a brand-new playlist.
This concept is certainly nothing new, but it experienced a huge rise in popularity thanks to Hope Zuckerbrow, whose “cozy cardio” post gained millions of likes on TikTok.
“I realized I needed to heal my relationship with exercise. Exercise wasn’t fun anymore, and I was only moving to lose weight, not to feel good or be healthy. I wanted to spark joy when it came to movement,” Zuckerbrow told CNN Health.

]]>Unlike some of the previous workout trends that emerged on TikTok, “silent walking” isn’t that hard to embrace and you don’t have to be a fitness expert to give it a shot. This term can be defined as a regular walk that doesn’t involve any distractions – such as listening to a podcast or music on your phone.
Mady Maio, who came up with this term and helped it trend on TikTok, admitted that the idea of walking without any distractions made her anxious at first. She decided to give it a shot after her boyfriend encouraged her to do so and realized it’s actually pretty amazing.
“Something happens after two minutes, where your brain just gets into this flow state and everything is quiet, and suddenly, you can hear yourself… After 30 minutes of silent walking, I suddenly had the clarity that I had always been looking for — brain fog lifted,” she explained in her viral video.

Maio’s heart is in the right place because walking without distractions comes with a long list of benefits. It lets you focus on the sounds of nature, improve your concentration and creativity, and experience a sense of calm and balance because it’s basically a form of moving meditation.

]]>The post 3 Surprising Benefits of Sitting on the Floor appeared first on yourdailysportfix.com.
]]>Sitting on the floor engages the abdominals and back muscles as they work to maintain an upright position without the support of a chair. This constant activation helps to strengthen these muscles over time, leading to improved posture and reduced strain on the spine. Additionally, sitting on the floor encourages a more natural spinal alignment, which can alleviate back pain caused by prolonged chair usage.
The act of sitting cross-legged or in other floor-friendly positions promotes the stretching and lengthening of muscles and connective tissues. This can lead to improved hip, knee, and ankle flexibility and increased joint mobility, which is especially important for older adults and those looking to maintain a greater range of motion.
There is a reason that many meditation practices are traditionally performed in a seated position on the floor. By sitting closer to the ground, we establish a stronger connection with our environment, allowing us to feel more present and centered. This can help to reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance concentration.

Most of their videos feature exercises that are easy to replicate, while some include some other tips that will help you fight the anxiety, such as finding your own corner, listening to music, and drinking water or doing light stretches between the sets.

]]>TikTok user Mia who goes by @exactlyliketheothergirls originally came up with the concept of “Hot Girl Walk” and it didn’t take long for it to become a TikTok sensation. This trend is all about using your walk as a tool to welcome some positive vibes into your life.
“A lot of people are thinking that the hot girl walk is about weight loss, but it’s not. The biggest transformations are the ones that start internally,” explains Mia.
@exactlyliketheothergirls Reply to @666mjcksn666 follow to stay on non-toxic tik tok! There are a lot of new friends so this needed a redo #hotgirlwalk #fitness ♬ original sound – Mia
What separates “Hot Girl Walk” from any regular walk is that you should spend your walk thinking about three things: what you’re grateful for, what your goals are, and how hot you are. It’s the perfect time to destress and encourage yourself into patterns of positive thinking, instead of letting everyday worries creep in and cloud your mind.
Mia recommends walking for four miles while listening to an inspirational podcast or a motivational playlist, but this is more of a guideline than a rule. It’s up to you to find your own version of “Hot Girl Walk” and create the routine that suits you.

]]>Working out with a weighted hula hoop is pretty safe as long as the weight you’re using fits your strength and fitness level. If you’re still a beginner, it’s better to start working with a lighter hoop and add weight as you go along to avoid pain and potential injuries, especially if you have a history of lower back pain.
Constant repetitive use of this trendy equipment piece can also lead to bruising and pain. There’s really no need to work out for more than 20 minutes per session, especially if you have zero experience with hula hooping, and it’s even recommended to start with regular hula hoops in that case.
No piece of equipment is 100% safe if you’re not exercising with good form, and weighted hula hoops are no different. It’s important to remember to keep your chest up, your ribs down and prevent your shoulders from rounding forward, so you wouldn’t put too much pressure on your lower back.

]]>You don’t have to try a TikTok food trend just because it’s trendy at the moment. Viral food trends come and go and only a rare few stick around for more than a week or two. Stick to trying the ones that seem like something that you would truly enjoy every once in a while, even if they’re not 100% healthy.
Just like with any other type of food, the ingredients you’re using will determine how healthy your TikTok recipes are. With certain viral foods, such as triangle tortillas, you can always replace the ingredients from the original recipe with healthier alternatives.
At the end of the day, keeping TikTok viral foods on a healthy side comes down to moderation. There’s nothing wrong about trying baked feta pasta, hot chocolate bombs, and pancake cereal, as long as you don’t go overboard with your portions.

In addition to making the exercises more dynamic, the bungee cord will support your joints as you bounce and glide through the air. If you’re dealing with joint pain or recovering from injury, this routine will get you on the right track and help you improve your mobility, in addition to burning calories and toning muscles.
Bungee fitness classes have been around for quite some time, but like many fitness trends these days, they owe their recent rise in popularity to TikTok. Videos under the hashtag bungee fitness have been seen over 70 million times, and fitness studios such as Lifted Bungee and Sling Bungee are putting them on the map.
