The Logical Reason Why Water is So Healthy

When it comes to nutrition and everything that goes with it, you often hear fitness gurus and even random people preaching the importance of water. They talk about its immense benefits, and they may even go so far as to say that you should be drinking up to two liters of water a day. We’re here to say that we totally get how tiresome these people can sound. Because let’s be real, water can be bland and boring to drink. But here’s a more logical, less preachy version of why water is so good for you.

The Cleaning Analogy

When you have a dirty floor, what’s the first thing you use to clean it? Water. When you have dirty anything, for that matter, what’s generally the primary substance you use to clean that thing? Yes, the answer is water. Water is simply a means of cleaning things out, and this is certainly true when it comes to your body.

Instead of looking at water as this holy grail kind of drink that you NEED to be drinking at all times, change your perspective to that of a more logical one. Understand that your body probably isn’t the cleanest, and it probably wouldn’t hurt to “rinse it out” a tad. From that perspective, drinking some water doesn’t seem that crazy now, does it?
