With so many new trends in the fitness world, keeping up with the lingo can be difficult sometimes. If you’ve never heard of AMRAP, it stands for as many rounds (or reps) as possible. You can find different AMRAP workouts online and they’re typically short and intense, but versatile and easy to modify as needed.

In only six minutes, you can tone your arms using this short AMRAP workout created by Matt Kite, the director of education at D1 training.

“AMRAP workouts are versatile, easy to modify, and keep things interesting for those looking to shake up their routine cardio workout,” Kite says. “The circuits are also great for building muscular endurance, improving cardiovascular health, and tracking progress.”

You can pretty much choose any exercises you want and turn them into an AMRAP session. The important thing is to give it your best and try to do as many reps as possible for each of the exercises if you want to get the maximum results. When it comes to this particular 6-minute workout, Kite suggests the following:

  • Hammer Bicep Curl (5-10 lbs.)
  • Shoulder Press (5-10 lbs.)
  • Overhead Tricep Extension (10 lbs.)
  • Plank Shoulder Taps
