It’s been a while since Victoria’s Secret surprised us with a new activewear line, but they’re finally ready for an epic comeback. Their iconic collection of fashion sports apparel VSX is finally making its grand return, and it marks the brand’s attempt to enter the activewear scene again.
VSX was first launched in 2011, and Victoria’s Secret is trying to take advantage of the robust activewear market by bringing it back years later. Kira Fisher, vice president of brand design at VS&CO, described it as more than a sports collection, adding it’s “a lifestyle at the intersection between performance and fashion.”
In addition to such activewear essentials as sports bras and leggings, priced at $50 and $70, this new line offers a wide range of ready-to-wear apparel. You’ll find everything from T-shirts and catsuits to trench coats on Victoria’s Secret’s VSX page.
Gigi Hadid is the face of the new VSX collection, and she’s thrilled to be a part of this campaign because it captures the multifaceted nature of strength and performance.
“Movement plays an important role in my life and my definition is always evolving… This collection is such a chic one-stop shop that covers it all, with pieces that can support me through a workout or tie together a chic-yet-comfortable off-duty look,” said Hadid in a statement.
