Viola Davis’ Fitness Progress for “Woman King” is Truly Astounding

Viola Davis is currently busy preparing for the role in her next film Woman King and the title of this project perfectly describes how we feel about the Oscar-winning actress. Davis shared a few photos from her training sessions and she’s looking better than ever.

Woman King is a drama about a general of an all-female military unit. Needless to say, Davis has to be in the top shape for this role, and she’s getting in shape by doing kicks and ab moves as a part of her weight training.

The critically acclaimed actress earned high praise from her personal trainer Gabriela Mclain. She explained that good results don’t come free and that they can only be achieved through dedication, consistency, and lots of sweat—and that’s exactly what Davis brings to the table.

“I’ve been training Viola Davis over two years now, and let me tell you something, she brings all this to the game. She doesn’t complain, she always pushes to the limits, she’s extremely humble and disciplined,” wrote Mclain on Instagram.
