Ways to Make the Treadmill More Fun

Running on the treadmill can easily become torturous because of the monotony of the device. This doesn’t mean that you should miss workout because it is boring. You can make this activity more fun. Here are some ideas to try:

Find an interesting app

If you need motivation, find an app that can help. Some apps give you access to lots of different workouts and coaches to help you reach the finish line guide the exercises. 

Talk to friends

You can multitask while using the treadmill. Use Bluetooth speakers to discuss with friends, on a long steady pace run. You can go an extra mile and have a video call with your mom or organize a run date with your friend to encourage them to exercise.

Catch up on your favorite shows

You can Netflix and run. It may be difficult to make time out for your favorite shows. You can catch up on one of your favorites seasonal movies while you use the treadmill.

Get a video playlist

Motivation plays a large role in exercising. Try to pump yourself up with some music that motivates you. A motivational video playlist is even more effective. Come up with a list of music videos to use for this purpose.
