Exercise has so many health benefits, both physical and mental, so it’s always a great thing when a person decides to start working out. But in case you don’t know what to expect, here are a few things that are going to happen once you start exercising.

You’ll Be Sore

Whether you’re new to exercise or not, chances are you’ll feel very sore after starting a new workout program. Every beginning is challenging so don’t give up because the soreness will get better after some time.

Improved Sleep

If you’re having trouble sleeping at night, you’ll be happy to hear that a regular workout will definitely help solve this problem. Studies have shown that people who work out on a regular basis sleep better at night and have less chance of feeling sleepy during the day.

Increased Energy

At first, you’ll probably feel like workouts are draining your energy and that’s totally normal. However, once your body gets used to this new workout regime and becomes stronger, your energy level will increase for sure.

You’ll Feel Hungrier

This is not a ruler, but some people feel hungrier than usual after starting a new workout routine. This is not unusual since you’re burning more calories, so don’t feel guilty for eating more than usual as long as you’re eating healthy foods.
