Don’t Be Afraid to Lift Weights

One of the biggest myths you’ll ever hear is that if you lift weights you will look bulky. If you want to gain muscle, you need to stimulate the muscles with weights.

You Have to Eat

If you want to build muscles you need to eat. Continuous dieting is not the best idea. You want to eat right and eat enough to feed and fuel the muscles.

Be Consistent

Regular workouts are the only way that you will achieve toned muscles. Do not skip days, and try to exercise five times a week.

Challenge Yourself

Doing fewer reps with more weight will challenge the muscles, which means they will work harder. If you do more reps with a lower weight, your body will get used to it and the muscles will remain in the same size as before.

I’ve had a lot of people ask me if I’m afraid of getting too big. I’ve had women tell me they’re afraid to do certain movements because they might put on too much muscle. I’ve had men tell me not to lift too heavy for the same reason. 🙅🏼‍♀️ let’s clear some things up.⁣ ⁣ Real quick let me list the things I’m afraid of:⁣ 🔺Not fulfilling my potential⁣ 🔺Being physically/mentally weak ⁣ 🔺Becoming uninspired, unmotivated, unengaged⁣ 🔺NOT being able to rep 225 😂😂(swipe right)⁣ 🔺Not being able to pet alllll the 🐶 dogs⁣ ⁣ Things IDGAF about:⁣ 🔺Getting “too big”⁣ ⁣ There’s a lot to be afraid of. There’s a lot of things I don’t want to become. But “big” isn’t one of them. I literally couldn’t give AF. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I encourage you to do the same.⁣ ⁣ Being strong will always give you more than it will take from you. But I can guarantee one thing – you won’t get strong AF if you’re spending all your time fixated on being small 💪🏻.
