Zendaya Finds Workout Motivation in the Most Unusual Place

Finding the motivation to work out every single day can be tricky, and even the best of us struggle with it. Zendaya is no different, but she came up with a creative way to motivate herself to stay active that includes one thing that she does best—playing different characters.

In a recent interview with Stephen Colbert, the Emmy-winning actress admitted that she struggled to stay active during the quarantine. After realizing that she needs to get outside more, she convinced her assistant to help her stay active and entrained herself by dressing up for each workout.

“Every day, because I missed acting so much… to inspire me to go downstairs and workout, I would wear different wigs, because I have a whole collection of wigs from all the red carpets that I’ve done,” explained the former Disney star.

This strategy did the trick for Zendaya, and you don’t have to be a professional actress to give it a try. Putting on your workout clothes is sometimes all it takes to get you in the mood for your next workout, so take the page from  Zendaya’s book, put on your “gym costume” and get ready to burn some major calories!
