In less than a week, 2022 will be long behind us, but some of the trends it brought our way aren’t going anywhere. That’s certainly the case with some of the biggest activewear trends to emerge this year, and here are three that defined the past twelve months.

Barbiecore

Barbiecore is the biggest fashion trend of 2022, and it didn’t take a long time to dominate the activewear world. Pink leggings, sports bras, onesies, and sets were all the rage this year, and we’re expecting they will be just as popular in 2023 because the barbiecore craze will most likely continue its domination.

Onesies

Barbiecore is one of the activewear trends that we definitely saw coming, but the same can’t be said about onesies. Bodysuits became extremely popular this year, replacing traditional workout sets, and we’ve seen everyone from fitness influencers to celebrities embrace these two-in-one workout outfits.

Tenniscore

Venus Williams’s brand EleVen has been trying to put tennis-inspired workout clothes on the map for quite some time and everyone finally followed suit this year. Tenniscore activewear was going stronger than ever this summer, bringing workout skirts and skorts back.
