How to Make Delicious and Healthy Avocado Fries

Avocados are known as healthy food that’s rich in good fats and comes with many health benefits. Avocados are nutritious and versatile, which is why they are so popular as a breakfast choice or as an ingredient for many different meals.

What you probably didn’t know is that you can easily make avocado fries. This healthy version of fries can be baked in the oven, so you don’t need to use a lot of oil as you would for frying. You Will Need

  • two avocados
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

How to Make Them

  1. First, turn on the oven and preheat to 375 F. Also, prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. 
  2. Place the flour in one bowl, an egg in another bowl, and breadcrumbs in a third bowl. Beat the egg and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Peel and slice the avocado. Coat each slice with flour, egg, and breadcrumbs in that order. Arrange on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Bake your healthy fries for fifteen minutes or until they are crispy!
